Let it Snow!!!

We had a snowstorm in PA! I figured this would be the perfect combination of polish. It is two coats of China Glaze Blue Year's Eve topped off with one coat of China Glaze Snow Globe. This mani definitely reminds me of winter! Both polishes were part of the China Glaze Let it Snow collection for the 2011 holiday.

Blue Year's Eve is a magnificent blue shimmer- unique from the other blues in my collection. I know the name was supposed to be festive, but it almost sounds like the polish is meant to be worn on New Year's Eve.

Snow Globe has multicolored iridescent glitter that is somewhat see-through. It has been a lemming of mine for a while and I was happy to see that it was re promoted in the holiday collection. It's just gorgeous over Blue Year's Eve. I have also seen it over black and white shades.

  2. Love this blue from the CG Holiday 2011 collection big time! And it was great they re-released Snow Globe and it's like the original one was - not a goofed up re-introduction. I 'heard' Snow globe was going to be introduced to the regular CG classic collection - no date - and I did not want to take that as a for sure as it was not a release notice from CG so I bought 3 of those. Don't want to run out!

  3. That would be nice if they released it into the classic collection! I always love the colors they come out with for the holidays but it's a shame that most of them are limited edition.I also want to get Techno while it's being promoted in the Electropop collection. It's so pretty!

  4. Techno is on my list too. I read today on a blog (forgot who's) that the new Techno is dead on for the old one - no oops in recreating the formula. I love that CG added all but 1 shade to their classics wall at Sally's from the last spring's Anchors Away collection. It bugged me that AA was not a collection available through Sally's at all when it was released. I count on the combo of Sally's and CG. I don't live within 500 miles of an ULTA so I miss any of the brands who do Ltd's with ULTA - but an entire collection for spring from CG that did not end up being released to Sally's was a huge OH NO for marketing I felt.
