Recent Manis and a Glorious Haul

I have a few more recent manis as well as some new polishes that I've purchased.

First up is Amy's Nail Boutique- Cherry Blossom layered over OPI- Pooltime Lime.

Cherry Blossom is packed with various sizes of matte hexes in hot pink, light pink, and white. The glitter was so densely packed, that I only needed one coat. I dabbed it around a little bit.
The sun was out when I took these pictures! I really like how the glitter in Cherry Blossom ends up arranging and laying on top of other particles. With the green, this reminds me of cherry blossoms and bamboo.
I took a picture indoors without the flash so that the sun wouldn't be as blinding.
Amy's Nail Boutique polishes can be purchased through Amy's Etsy Shop.

Here is OPI- Pooltime Lime by itself taken indoors without the flash. This one is a black label oldie from 2004's Summer Splash Collection. Although I really liked the color, it was a streaky brushstrokey mess. I needed three coats and you can see that there are some bare spots. It dried to a shimmery, frosty finish. It's a yellow-leaning green.
Here it is without the flash. The dry time on this took very long. It was denting/smudging hours after I painted my nails. I still love OPI black labels and greens though!
Next is F4 Polish- Granite is just gorgeous. Just a disclaimer that these pictures do not do it justice. When I did my nails with Galaxy, I was in a bit of a hurry.

Granite is a gorgeous dark blue/gray shimmer filled with various colors and sizes of glitter.
I used three coats of this just because the base was a little bit thin, but it built up to opaque coverage. I used the Elmer's glue base coat with this, so it was a breeze to remove. F4 Polish can be purchased in the Etsy Shop.

Here's a combination that I absolutely love! This is Utopia Polish- Paint Splatter layered over Etude House- Dear Darling Nails 43.
I just love the way these transparent neon glitters look. Unlike it's sister, which is Utopia Polish- Gumdrops, Paint Splatter has various sizes of the transparent glitters minus the blue and green.

This combination reminds me of funfetti! Paint Splatter was so packed with glitter that it only needed one coat dabbed around.
This is Etude House- Dear Darling Nails 43 taken indoors without the flash. I purchased this one in a blog sale a while ago and I don't know much about the brand Etude House, just that it's foreign. Dear Darling Nails 43 is a white shimmer filled with pink shimmer particles.
Here it is with the flash. Dear Darling Nails 43 was a little bit on the sheer side and needed three coats to be opaque. It was still slightly streaky, but Paint Splatter hid that well.

Now on to new polish!

My order from my Zoya New Year's promo finally came in. It took a while because I wanted to wait until the Pixie Dusts were available to ship. The three free shades I chose were Jo, Suvi, and Indigo. The Pixie Dust collection includes: Dahlia, Chyna, Godiva, Vespa, Nyx, and London.
Nubar- Indigo Illusion, OPI- DS Shimmer, Cult Nails- Coveted and Flushed
Sally's Haul! I purchased the new China Glaze Glitz Bitz n Pieces collection. I got Bling it On, Mosaic Madness, Graffiti Glitter, Glitz N Pieces, Razzle Me Dazzle Me, and Scattered & Tattered. I also got a free ORLY- Wild Wisteria because my Sally's was trying to clear out of their old ORLY bottles.

My very first Nfuohs! I got 51, 52, and 59

KB Shimmer- The Square

This is KB Shimmer- The Square. This is from the Clique Collection released in May but it has recently been discontinued. It has a ton of glitter packed into a medium purple jelly base.
It was very easy to get opaque coats with this because there was so much glitter! I used three coats. More glitter came out of the bottle than base. Mostly all of the pieces of glitter are square. There is gold, blue, white, and tiny particles of blue glitter.
This polish devours topcoat! Usually with most polishes, I'm fine with only using one coat of Seche Vite, but even with two coats of it, this polish was still gritty from the glitter. I definitely needed to utilize the aluminum foil and acetone method to remove this, and even with that it was rather tricky!
I got my Cult Nails order from the recent sale. Here they are wrapped in the lil burritos!
Here's: Happy Ending, I Got Distracted, and Deal with It
I was waiting for Utopia- Gumdrops to become available again, and it FINALLY is mine! It was so worth the wait and I cannot wait to use it!

Blue Jelly Franken!!!

I'm wearing a one-of-a-kind polish today. Literally- it's the only of it's kind! I bought this franken in a blog sale from Nat from No Holos!  It is a blue jelly with white hex glitter and very sparse white bar glitter. In the bottle it looked like there was going to be much more glitter on the nail. Instead it's just kind of randomly scattered. Some nails only have one speck of glitter on them. My OCD doesn't like that. I love the blue jelly! It's absolutely gorgeous!! It was on the sheer side and this is three coats. After the first 1-2 coats I was questioning if it would actually look good and I'm glad I kept painting. This picture is with the flash. Theres a lot of visible nail line, but that doesn't really bother me too much as long as my nails don't look dirty. My nails are getting long again! This is the perfect length before they start to feel too long.
Without the flash, it looks like a dark teal. I love how due to the layering of the glitter in the multiple coats of the blue jelly, some glitter specks are blue and others are white. There are a couple buried under three coats that you can't really see. It's a shame this bottle is so small. It's about half gone just from using three coats to do this mani. I purchased it after it was used a couple times though. I would love a full size of this! I've gotten a few compliments on it also :) Luckily, nobody has asked where to buy it from.

Now some nail mail hauls! I'm *trying* to be good, but that's not really working at the moment.
My Cult Nails order arrived from the sale! They have the names on the cute little burritos. I almost hate to unwrap them!

Here's Living Water, Hypnotize Me, Cruisin' Nude, and Seduction (yayyy! flakies!)

And for the grande finale!!!

Nail Venturous FLOAM!!!! I finally got this gem. Just look at it in all of it's glory!!! It has matte neon green and turquoise glitter reminiscent of the Nickelodeon goo. I miss that! I think somebody should make a green jelly called Gak- that would be sweet!!

Here's the Nickelodeon Floam if any of you kids from the 90s remember

Surprise Nail Mail!!!

I got two packages today! I wasn't expecting them to arrive this early; but they did and it was pleasant :) Tonight will just be a haul post.
Here is my Cult Nails order from when they had their $5 polish sale. They are still in the burritos!

Here's Iconic, My Kind of Cool Aid, and Captivated. I was SOOOO ecstatic when I saw that Captivated was available again. I was so upset when I missed out on it the first time. That was my first choice. Now if only I didn't miss out on Unicorn Puke or Clairvoyant. Toxic Seaweed just got sold out today, and I'm happy I purchased that one.

Now this next group of polishes was purchased from Jenna from I'm Still Thinking. She was selling mystery grab boxes of nail polish for 5 for $10, and 10 for $20. I got the 10 for $20 and she shipped super fast!!! I showed her my spreadsheet to avoid duplicating ones I already own- and she threw in mostly new brands that I didn't own any of. I believe she may still have some bottles available. I got 12 bottles total and a couple were minis. I photographed every one except Wet n Wild- On a Trip because I already own that one. Opening this package was one of the best feelings ever; almost like Christmas morning as a child. If anyone hears of mystery boxes, LET ME KNOW! I love surprises.

Here are the minis. Boots 17- unnamed pink and black polishes, Stila- City Lights, Sparitual- Chill (firsts of all these brands!)

Sally Hansen- Fire Opal (I LOVE THE NAIL PRISMS!), Clatty- Unnamed emerald shimmer (I've never heard of this brand), and Wet n Wild- I Need a Refresh-Mint.

La Rosa Crackles: 24K Gold and Silver Wear, Joe Fresh- Oyster, and Angelica-Genius. Joe Fresh was the only one of these four that I have heard of. I think this was a pretty sweet deal for $20! Does anybody have memorable mystery box polishes? I'm eager to try these!

Job Interview (safe) Mani and a Haul!

I had a job interview today so I decided to wear one of my newest purchases, Sally Hansen- Dune. It is part of their Smooth and Perfect line. The formula is AMAZING. I am very impressed! This shade is very close to my skin tone. There is a slight shimmer to it. I am wearing two coats. It's very opaque, and I probably could have even added a third. It dried pretty quickly and the application was flawless! The brush was very wide too (I'm talking wider than the OPI Prowide brushes). Usually I have difficulty with the larger brushes because  they're more difficult to be neat with, but this one worked pretty well for me. This picture shows it without the flash.

Here it is without the flash. My interview went well today, so if I get the job, I'll know this polish was good luck :)

I made some new purchases, and they recently arrived in the mail. On to the goodies!

I was lucky enough to order one of the Zoya Peter Som LE boxes before they were sold out. This picture showcases the pretty Zoya wrapping paper.

Unwrapped! The velvet Zoya box and some free Remove+ was thrown in!

Peter Som Box opened: Evvie, Audrey, and Katharine. I'm most excited to try Katharine. It looks like an amazing purple jelly! Audrey looks a lot like Bela in the bottle. I may have to compare the two.

The Fleck Effect collection has been a lemming of mine ever since they were released. I figured I would add them to my order and take advantage of the free shipping since I haven't been able to find them at ULTA. The three shades are Maisie, Opal, and Chloe. I can't wait to layer these over other shades. I LOVE FLAKIES!!!

I ordered Toxic Seaweed from Cult Nails as soon as it was put up on midnight. I like the Let's Get Nekkid collection, but this one was my main priority because I figured it would sell out fast. This is Toxic Seaweed in its burrito.

Unwrapped! Green flakie-glittery goodness!

I went to Target today and saw the Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect collection for $2 cheaper than they were at CVS. I picked up Air.
