Fresh Paint Olive You

Today I'm wearing Fresh Paint- Olive You. Fresh Paint is a brand found at 5 Below stores. They retail for $2 individually, but you can purchase three for $5. This is the first Fresh Paint nail polish I have tried.  I am wearing two coats. The formula is really good for the price of this polish! It's very shiny, reminiscent of a chrome almost, but I think it's a metallic. There were some subtle brush strokes showing, but I've always been a fan of the frost finish so that doesn't bother me.

Without the flash, you can see the green in this polish. This is a very unique color in my collection. I would describe it as a silvery army green.  I may have to go back and get more Fresh Paint polishes. My nails grow too fast, and now they're too long for my liking. I will probably cut them down to how they were last time. What does everyone think of this polish?

  3. Not seeing the green in it. Funny to hear you are a fan of frosts. They get a really bad rap now days from most folks. I am older than most of the commenters and lived through the 60's and 70's when frost was the name fof the game or a red or orange cream pretty much...the entire world that I knew makeup wise was frosted from blue eyeshadow to the white lipstick. I don't have that store you mentioned so no chance I will be seeing this brand any time soon. I do have a charcoal that looks a lot like this - wish it had green in it like you say is in this one!

    1. The green was really difficult to capture in the pictures. I would say it resembles a sage-like shade. I don't know why I like frost finishes haha. I like all the streaks in them, but only when they're applied neatly and opaque. I would love frosts in colors other than the normal pinks. I noticed that the China Glaze Hunger Games collection is coming out with a gray/silver frost called Hook and Line. I've been reading the books, and I pretty much want every polish in that collection!
